Install Banzai in Your Clever Library
Follow these one-time steps to install the Banzai app in your Clever library. You'll need to log into Clever with your teacher account to complete the following steps.
To setup Banzai in your Clever library:
In Clever, click Library.
In the Search box, type "Banzai" and select Banzai from the list.
On the Banzai page, click Install.
Next, click Allow and continue to give Banzai permission to create accounts for you and your students. Note: As a Clever Certified Partner, we are in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations, including FERPA, SOPPA, and COPPA. If there are any questions about our data privacy agreements or if you need further information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@banzai.org.
If you are creating a new account:
If you are new to Banzai or want to create a new account, click No, continue with a new account. Note: We recommend converting your existing account, if you have one. All your data stays with the account after syncing with Clever, such as student progress and grades.

Click Sign Up and follow the prompts to create a Banzai account.
Next, choose the course you want to make available to your first class. Don’t worry, you can change this anytime! Click + Choose Course to confirm.
Next, decide how to create a class. Select Sync from Clever to use an existing Clever Class Roster or select an Ad Hoc Class to invite students to a new class by code or email.
To Sync from Clever, click Select a Class. Choose a class and click Ok.
Now, click + Create My First Class.
To create an Ad Hoc Class, select Ad Hoc Class and enter a Class name. Then click Create My First Class.
You’re all set up with Clever Sync!
If you are using an existing Banzai account:
If you already have a Banzai account you want to use, click Yes, connect my old account.
Enter your username or email address and password, then click Log In. Or click Sign in with Google to use Google SSO.
That's it—your Clever and Banzai accounts are synced!
Going forward, use Log in with Clever to access Banzai content.
